Sara and Phil’s intimate elopement was simply magical. Every detail was carefully chosen, from their boutique hotel, the Hotel Saint James, to the beautiful Chapelle Expiatoire and even their choice of transport- it all made for a sumptuous scene just waiting to be captured!
When I met Aude and Nader at the Salon du Mariage à Paris au Carrousel du Louvre last year we decided that instead of photographing their engagement session we would instead have a mini-enagement shoot prior to their civil wedding at their Mairie in Paris.
It was on one of the rare warm spring days that we’ve had, and the quick engagement shoot prior to the civil ceremony actually worked out perfectly!
After Sara and Thomas’ winter engagement session at the beginning of this year, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day set in the heart of Paris. The ceremony was held at the Church St Étienne du Mont, which was first built in the 6th century!
Five years ago John proposed to Kate on a surprise trip from New York City to Paris! He even filmed the moment when he told her in a NYC taxi where he was taking her, which you can see on her blog.
