Amy and Ben had their stunning wedding in the lush Île-de-France region of France. While Ben is French, Amy’s roots are in Hawaii, and their wedding day had amazing attention to details bringing their two different cultures together beautifully!
When I met Aude and Nader at the Salon du Mariage à Paris au Carrousel du Louvre last year we decided that instead of photographing their engagement session we would instead have a mini-enagement shoot prior to their civil wedding at their Mairie in Paris.
It was on one of the rare warm spring days that we’ve had, and the quick engagement shoot prior to the civil ceremony actually worked out perfectly!
After Sara and Thomas’ winter engagement session at the beginning of this year, I couldn’t wait for their wedding day set in the heart of Paris. The ceremony was held at the Church St Étienne du Mont, which was first built in the 6th century!
Five years ago John proposed to Kate on a surprise trip from New York City to Paris! He even filmed the moment when he told her in a NYC taxi where he was taking her, which you can see on her blog.
I couldn’t wait to photograph Sara and Mathieu’s wedding since I first met them last year. My first spring wedding of the season at the beautiful La Madeleine Church in the heart of Paris! I love the mix of an American-French wedding. It has the details and style of the American traditions combined with the French culture and setting – perfect!
