Michaela and Adam share their love story and why they chose Paris for their engagement session.
“We met four years ago on New Years Eve. It was a party neither of us were supposed to go to (we each almost stayed at home), but good friends dragged us out! Through the haphazard connections between our groups of friends we were lucky to find ourselves across the room at that small party. We hit if of immediately and the rest is history!
Paris has always been each of our favorite cities, but we had never been together. An unexpected work trip for Adam in December 2017 gave him a perfect opportunity to surprise me with a weekend there and a proposal!
I wanted to do engagement pictures in Paris since that is where we got engaged. I found Brian’s photography through a Google search and instantly loved his style and use of light!
The session itself was so much fun! I loved seeing the Eiffel Tower in the morning light before the crowds arrived. Brian knows the city like he grew up there. He knows all it moods and all its charms – the things that make Paris so special – you brought those to life in our pictures!
His guidance made posing easy and natural, and Adam especially appreciated the history lesson of the city! We kept talking about it later on that day as we explored it further.”
